Gardens by the Bay have two air-conditioned domes. One is the Flower Dome and the other is the Cloud Forest. Visitors buy tickets which enable them to visit the two domes.
The Flower Dome this time round displayed many, many species of orchids of different sizes and colors.
The beauty of these orchids bedazzles one’s eyes and almost all visitors had cameras in hand, busy snapping away.
Apart from the orchids, there were also other kinds of flowers.
There were also lots of different types of cacti and plants that can survive in arid landscapes. It was a most interesting afternoon in the Flower Dome.

These are the places of interest that I've been to and I would like to share them with you. I hope you find them interesting too.

Mid-Autumn Festival At Gardens By The Bay
Mid-Autumn Festival is the season for moon cakes and
lanterns. Guess who enjoys the
lanterns? Children in the past used to
carry small lanterns of all animal shapes in different bright colors lit by
candles within the lanterns.
This year there is a grand display of lanterns in the Gardens
By The Bay near the Marina Bay Sands.
Clusters of huge colorful lanterns depicting characters from
Chinese culture were on display, much to the delight of visitors many of whom
were children.
They were very colorful and one can imagine how lovely they
would be when lighted up at night.Unfortunately we couldn’t stay to see them
lighted up.
