Approaching Changi Airport

It's just a two hour flight into Singapore from where we live. When the pilot announced that we were on the descent into Singapore, out came my camera to capture it. It had been a very smooth flight across the South China Sea.

We were still above a sea of clouds.

Then we cut through to the lower level of cumulous clouds.

After we broke through the cloud cover, there were ships below which I guess must be heading towards or away from Singapore.

Then we approached land.

We flew over a golf course, with its bunkers and lakes. It looked very pretty from above.
Soon we landed and taxied into the airport heading towards the gate where we would disembark.  Along the way there were other aeroplanes parked at their gates.
Disembarkation was swift and the immigration process was a breeze. Retrieving our luggage was also fast and soon we were in a cab on the way to see our little grandson.
